“Gotta Be Me” Self-Esteem and Wellness Workshop for Girls in Grades 6, 7,and 8 Monday, January 16, 2012, Martin Luther King Holiday 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Our Lady of the Elms High School 1375 W. Exchange Street Akron, Ohio 44313 Hi Girls, My name is Telayne and I am a Girl Scout in Troop 90358 in Akron. I am currently trying to achieve the highest honor in Girl Scouting, the Gold Award. In order to be considered for this award, I have to plan and complete a project that I care about and one that would make a difference in the lives of people. I have chosen to have a fun, exciting and interactive program for YOU! In a day full of activities, you will learn a variety of skills and gain knowledge on dressing on a budget, feminine hygiene, hair and make- up tips, healthy eating and more. I know how hard middle school can be and I want to help you discover your inner strengths by embracing the beautiful person that you are. There is a cost of $10.00 BUT it includes your lunch and other goodies. Space is limited so please sign up early. A registration form is attached(below).
